Sandwich Specials

Starting tomorrow, Monday, September 27, we present our first sandwich offering: Ham and Provolone on your choice of wheat, sourdough, or white bread. You can enjoy this sandwich on its own, or in a lunch combination with coffee, tea or a soda, and cookies, cupcake, or a slice of pie.

We are working on developing and expanding our sandwich menu and would love suggestions about what sandwiches you would like to see offered.

White Center for the Arts -Art Walk this Saturday

We currently are hosting photographer Peter Parker in his first ever showing. We'll be open late for Art Walk from 6-9 Saturday, September 18th.

Happy Monthiversary to us!

Tomorrow we will be 1 month old. We have just begun the work we want to do in White Center. We hope to soon be hosting artists and offering concert space to musicians. We will also be offering Saturday Storytime with Jessica. Mostly we want to be a place where people can hang out and connect with their community. We'd love to be host to meetings, classes, and parties. Please feel free to come in and chat with us about your ideas and about what we can do for you.

In celebration of our monthiversary we will be offering a 12oz drip coffee and slice of pie combo for just $3.50- while supplies last. That's a dollar off the regular price. Hope to see you tomorrow!

Looking for Artists and Musicians

We are currently looking for artists to host and musicians for performances. If you are, or know someone interested in showcasing thier talents give us a call or stop by on a weekend!

The Dish on Gluten Free

I've had quite a few inquiries about the possiblity of gluten free offerings. There are very strict rules from the health department concerning gluten free products, and rightly so. Some people are allergic to gluten. In order to meet these requirments, we would need to have completely separate equipment and prep areas for the gluten free products. Unfortunately, we do not have the space in this location for gluten free production.

In the meantime, we will continue to offer traditional baked goods in a bright, family-friendly environment.

A huge thank-you to everyone that has come in during our first two weeks! We are very excited to be a part of the White Center neighborhood.

Today, some friends met for a playdate. The kids had a great time playing in the kids' area while the moms enjoyed their peach and blackberry pie.

We have free Wireless Internet, and we are looking forward to the start of fall quarter. We are a great place to have some coffee, a little treat, and to do some studying.
